Praise for Fellow Author and PWP Karl Robb
Recently I had the pleasure and honor of joining the author of A Soft Voice in a Noisy World, and PWP (Person with Parkinson’s), Karl Robb, as a presenter on a Parkinson’s Awareness Cruise in the Caribbean. Karl is 43 and has had PD symptoms since he was 17.
Karl actually found me reading his book on the beach. I found A Soft Voice in a Noisy World to be packed with hope and insights from Karl’s 20+ year journey with Parkinson’s Disease. The lessons of his personal journey with PD as related in the book are an example to anyone diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Karl relates the frustrations of misdiagnosis by multiple doctors as he watched his disease progress.
His determination pushed him to find answers to his questions. The book is filled with Karl’s time proven tips on how to live well with PD. He gives practical advice on everything from choosing and talking with your doctor to how to start your own support group. Karl also relates his personal experiences with alternative medicines and tells how Reiki and meditation have changed his life. Karl is an avid blogger (pdpatient.wordpress.com), Parkinson’s Advocate, entrepreneur, speaker and Reiki master.
I strongly recommend A Soft Voice in a Noisy World as a definitive guide to dealing with and healing with Parkinson’s Disease.
