Can You Help Me Help 100,000 People?

Muhammad-Ali_6Help me with my mission to personally touch the lives of 100,000 people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers within the next three years by showing them how to live well with Parkinson’s disease (PD) and enjoy every day. I will do whatever it takes to make that happen. If you are reading this article you probably know that I have PD.  The two most famous people currently living with Parkinson’s are Muhammad Ali and Michael J. Fox.

You may have Parkinson’s yourself, or know someone who does.  Perhaps you have a close family member with PD, or you are a caregiver/carepartner.  Being diagnosed with Parkinson’s is scary for everyone.

I was diagnosed in 2005.  Since my diagnosis I have earned a black belt in jujutsu, started scuba diving, written two books, and released three audio CDs.  I consider myself one of the lucky ones.  I speak at conferences, symposiums and support groups across the US and Canada.  As I travel around the country I am shocked to see how many people are lacking information on how to cope with  Parkinson’s and enjoy their days.

Please help me help everyone affected by this degenerative disease.  If you are affiliated with an organization that is hosting an event, consider having me speak.  If you know someone involved in the Parkinson’s community tell them about my message, or give me their name so I can reach out to them.

I understand that your group may not have the budget to pay my expenses.  If not, then I will do my presentation via a teleconference on the Internet. I won’t let money keep us from working together.

To read testimonials on how I’ve helped others go to www.ahandbookforlife.com/testimonials.

Together we can uplift people with Parkinson’s, help them enjoy their lives, and make the most out of every day.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
